This privacy notice aims to give you information on how I collect and process your personal data through your use of this website, including any data you may provide through this website or via other means to enquire or sign up to try a pilates class.
Data Controller
Julia Endacott Pilates is a sole trader business and Julia Endacott is responsible for your personal data (collectively referred to as Julia Endacott Pilates, “I”) in this privacy notice.
I provide pilates evolved mindful movement classes and one to one sessions with clients. I shall refer to exercise class or one to one participation as “services’.
This privacy policy explains what data I collect from you, what data you submit to me and why I require this data. I also explain how I share this data with other services and the reasons for this.

2. The data I collect about you
Personal information, means any personal information about an individual from which that person can be identified.
I may collect, use, store and transfer different kinds of personal data which I have grouped together as follows:
- Identity Data – includes first name, last name and title
- Contact Data – includes address, email address and telephone numbers and next of kin
- Financial Data – includes the names of clients making payment to my bank account but not their account numbers or sort codes.
- Personal Data – e.g occupation, health conditions are treated with confidentiality

Direct Interactions: –
We use different methods to collect data from and about you including through direct interactions, e.g filling in forms, corresponding by phone or email.
Third parties or publicly available sources – I may receive personal data about you form third parties and public sources, for example Automated technologies such as google Analytics based outside the EU.
4. How I use your personal data
I only use your personal data for my own information only. As a Chartered Physiotherapist I adhere to my professional code of conduct maintaining confidentiality.
I may notify you about changes in the privacy policy.
I use data analytics to improve my website. This is necessary to study how customers use the website and to develop my services and grow the business.
Marketing – I only contact by group email current or pending clients or clients who have attended in the last 2-3 months. If at any time you wish to be taken off my mailing list I shall remove you from my contact list and not contact you in future.
5. Sharing Information
I never sell or pass on information to any third party.

I use some services to store data such as icloud. All this data is stored in a secure way.
As required by law
I may disclose information about you in response to a court order.
Information shared publicly
I may invite you to give a testimonial but I shall obtain your consent and not use your full name to protect your identity.

Whilst nothing is ever 100 % secure, I work hard to protect information about you against unauthorized access, digitally and in paper form.

I retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes I collected it for. Accounting data is stored for 6 years.

You have a right to both access the information I hold from you as well as asking me to remove contact details I hold for you on my computer system. You can request either of these by requesting by email.
